Was blown away by the food. My husband & I ate there twice in one day; I had the veggie omelet for breakfast with hash browns, he had the ham & cheese omelet with hash browns. Then on the way back to Turtle Bay Resort from a day of shopping we stopped in for dinner. I had Teri Fun..... Salmon & he had the ribs. Will be back before we leave on Dec 09. I can not believe the how good the food is. I so enjoyed eating at a local restaurant that is so friendly & pleasant to go to.

My husband and I just returned this past Sunday from our one week Honeymoon stay in Hauula. I wanted to thank everyone who works at Papa Ole's for their local hospitality and for feeding us during our stay. The food was so ono and just how my Mom cooks, local style! My husband really enjoyed your breakfasts and was always looking forward to your eggs over hard, fried rice and Portuguese sausage to start our day. He says your fried rice is even better than my Moms! My favorite was the sweet bread French toast with Portuguese sausage….I went even off diet for it! J Anyway, a BIG MAHALO and our deep appreciation to all of you for making us feel like part of your family.

Aloha.... We just finished our family vacation on the North Shore and we loved going to Papa Ole's Kitchen. The food is great and the service is even better then great. The people here really do love their customers. They always go the extra mile to make you feel welcome. We tried acouple of other placed on the North Shore that the food was just a good a Papa Ole's but it was really the people and the service that kept us coming back. You really can't go wrong with great food, great priced and great people.

Mahalo for the outstanding service and making us feel welcome, Bob Freiboth Poulsbo, Wa, 9/20/10

Aloha Cego & Papa Oles Kitchen Crew,

Mahalo! Mahalo! Mahalo! for delivering my catering order to the Kahuku Fire Station. Garlic Chicken and Sweet Sour Spareribs absolutely the BEST, soooooooooooo"ONO". We were celebrating Captain Bobby Chang's last day on duty (retiring after 32 years of service in the Honolulu Fire Dept). We only had a small window (like 20 minutes to setup) before the guest arrived at 6:00 to surprise him. Everything was successful and Captain Chang was real surprised.

Again, thank you . . . We LOVE Papa Ole's food!!!! Charmaine Chang, 3/31/10

Aloha Papa Ole's Ohana!

Our ohana, the Prestons, Huihuis, Manglicmots, Pellechias and Manzanos and our friends want to send out a BIG MAHALO to the kitchen crew, the chefs, the aunties and uncles that made our pa’ina one that will always be remembered. Everyone asked where the food came from and we directed them to know that there’s an onolicious restaurant out in Hauula called Papa Ole’s. Almost everything went with very little left for leftovers to eat before our daughter Kealani and son-in-law Josh left on Sunday the day after our Pa’ina on Saturday, Feb. 20.

The food was outstanding and everything was great! Again, mahalo Uncle Cedric and your ohana, Tommy, Ole, Rhonda, Cookie, Ana, and the rest of your wonderful ohana that made our going away gathering one our daughter and son-in- law are already missing.

Love and aloha, Robert and Bernie Preston, ohana and friends 03/02/2010

Dear Mr. Kanoa,

Today, I’ll be stopping by to drop off a long overdue "Mahalo" for your support of our Community Clean-Up on 12 December. Senator Hee purchased ono food from you which helped us get through the 4 hour clean-up process. I’m going to be purchasing lunch today for the employees of the Hauula Baseyard to thank them for their kokua over a month ago. We enjoy supporting wonderful local businesses such as yours.

From the residents of Pokiwai Place, Hula Hula Place and my road, Hauula Beach Homes Road (Kapaka Farms), we thank you for all you have done to support us.

Warmest Mahalo, Amy M., President, Hauula Beach Home Association 02/10/2010

I was very fortunate to have had the chance to savor your wonderful dishes firsthand. The love and passion for family and comfort comes in each morsel of flavors and it shows, big time! What makes it even more special is that your roots hold permanent in Hauula. I wish you the most success!   Kela, 04/28/2009

We stopped in a little town (Hauula), and we just parked and seen so many people walking into this restaurant. As we were getting out i could just smell good "ONO" food. I’ve got me a combo Pulehu ribs and their teri beef plate was the bomb. They also ask if you want toss salad instead of macaroni, and I fell in love with the cashier (her name was Anu). She just knew what i wanted to eat, and i swear she gave me the best service and recommendations. I would refer friends and family to go and eat there. I highly recommend anybody and everybody to visit PAPA OLE’S - it’s great and you’ll get your $$$$ worth.   Kalena, 02/28/2009

This little local place in a strip mall had the most delicious food! We ate breakfast there and had their breakfast plate with rice, eggs and bacon. Then we all shared their three different pancakes - Macadamia Nut, Chocolate, and Banana. The best pancakes we had ever eaten! Breakfast stops @ 11:00 AM.).   Reviewer, Yahoo.com, 11/23/2008

If you find yourself on the North Shore of O'ahu, head on over to Papa Ole's Kitchen in Hauula. Its just 15 minutes from the Banzai Pipeline and the other surfing tourist attractions. You won't be disappointed. The food is incredible, and there is SO much of it! Everyone was very friendly and said that--at least at that point--we were the longest distance customers they'd ever had (we're from the Washington, DC area and were on our honeymoon).   Reviewer, Yahoo.com, 01/11/08

Oh my gosh the food was soo good, and the portions that they give you are sooo huge. I mean you get food and then you get leftovers to take home. And the prices are awesome for what portions you get. They have it all over there. And everyday they have new specials. They also sometimes have desserts. They are so good. And the people are so nice. It's like your at home except the fact that you don't have to clean and wash dishes and cook the food. The environment inside the restuarant is so calm. They know what people like. I just love PAPA OLE'S KITCHEN. It's the best. People should go try it. And another thing, everything is HOMEMADE. Including the burgers, they are so juicy. And they have great breakfasts too. Try their pancakes with the macadamia nut ice cream and their homemade syrup. I highly recommend this family style restuarant to anybody and everybody. Pros: everything. Cons: nothing.    tdavis22, CitySearch.com, 11/13/2007
