All I wanted to do was share our style of home cooking. After all, we got our talent from our father, for whom we named Papa Ole's Kitchen. After years of cooking for Kahuku High School, I wanted to open my own restaurant, so that's what I did in 2004.
Every day we are happy to see our local customers, as well tourists who come in to sample local Hawaii cuisine. We've also had visits from some special people, including Mayor Mufi Hannemann, Da Kemoeatu Brothers (Pittsburgh Steelers), Hawaii's own Tasha Kai (US gold medal Olympian soccer player), musician Cyril Pahinui, Uncle Mahi Beamer, Colt Brennan, and Kanoa and Jim Leahey.
In addition to cooking in the restaurant, I
cater parties of every size: from 20 to
1000s of people. We also serve our good
food to the community at special events.
Warm aloha,
Cedric Kanoa, Owner & Chef
